Originally from the Canandaigua area in New York State, Chris is a singer-songwriter, record producer, musician and recording artist. He is currently based just outside of North Carolina in southern Virginia.

Music has been a part of his life from an early age ever since his 3rd grade chorus and 5th grade band classes. He continued to be a part of jazz band throughout middle school and participated in chorus all the way through his senior year of high school. However, it was not until his freshman year of college that he began considering music as a serious career.

Originally studying a different academic major entirely, Chris made the switch over to music in January 2018. By May 2020 he obtained two associate degrees from Finger Lakes Community College, one in music performance and one in music production. He would then transfer to Husson University in Bangor, Maine to complete his bachelors in music production, graduating May 2022.

Under the producer-artist alias CC Beats, Chris creates Indie-pop music that is very calming, tranquil and relaxing. The perfect kind of music to unwind and be zen with. In addition to writing and producing all of his own material,  Chris also plays nearly all of the instruments you hear on his records live. His musical influences include Bruno Mars, Khalid, SZA, Silk Sonic, Led Zeplin, Queen, John Mayer and Alicia Keys, just to name a few.
